Where to start!? Little back story, I went to college with Rebecca at Appalachian State and it was pretty great. Not because we enjoyed our college per say, but because we were in the same sorority! Oh boy. There's quite a few stories to tell with that one. I've been waiting to be able to share these gorgeous bridals with you, but now that her and Brendan are finally married, her beauty can finally be unveiled. Pun intended! Just kidding, but knowing Rebecca for so long, it's so amazing to see her so happy going into forever.
I just love love love these two! Tiffany and Nick met at a LSU football game house party, and it was pretty much love at first sight. Both Louisiana natives, Nick recently moved to Charleston for residency at MUSC while Tiffany works as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Despite the distance, it's pretty easy to tell that they are ecstatic to tie the knot. Their fall engagement shoot in Historic Charleston was absolutely perfect - cobblestone, burnished leaves, and that crisp feeling? Yes please!

As a photographer, I've learned that the unexpected can bring pure magic to a great session. When it rained the day of Lauren and Cole's engagement session, they not only took it in stride - they popped a bottle of champagne under a cute umbrella and made this one of my favorite fall engagement shoots yet! Lauren and I went to high school together, and were sorority sisters in college. She and Cole fell in love and got engaged at his lake house, where we took some of my favorite shots of the day after a visit to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in Charlotte. The story as Lauren tells it:
"We fell in love after college, but have known each other for years! Cole had just graduated from UNCC and I had just finished my Masters at ASU when a mutual friend asked me if I wanted to go out on Lake Wylie with a group of her friends. Little did I know that day would change my life forever. It was actually Cole's boat that we were going out on that day. Cole and I were instantly drawn to each other and have been since that first day on the lake. He even took me back to the lake to propose, saying this is where it all began...tear!"
Brittney and Grant came to Charleston to celebrate their anniversary with a Lowcountry vacation, and I was thrilled when they asked me to do an anniversary portrait session with them! Both Nashville natives, they have a shared love of good wine (they honeymooned in Napa), bunnies, and married life. We had a great time gallivanting around Charleston - we even met new friends outside of the historic German Friendly Society and made a sweet mess with some Thimblepress confetti! I loved shooting these two, and wish them many fabulous anniversaries to come!
