It's finally getting warmer in Charleston and that means it's a perfect time for family portraits! On Sunday March 22nd, I'm offering several 30 minute portrait sessions for only $150. Each session will include an online gallery with the option to order individual prints or you can pre-purchase the hi-res files when you book (look for the add-on option while booking) for an additional $200. Book your session here!
I met Ashley through a mutual friend from college, and she's awesome! As CEO of Charleston marketing firm The Modern Connection, Ashley is a PR genius. You all may have noticed the new site design? Her brilliant tips have sparked a spiffing up on all digital fronts for my business. In exchange, I took head shots for her team! They were such a delight to work with, I was totally on board when Ashley asked me to shoot a family portrait session for her.
Ashley and her sweetheart Blaine have a new teammate arriving in May: a baby girl! They plan to name her Harper Grace, and can't wait to show her the world. Blaine's twin daughters, Ava and Anya, were so much fun, and clearly loved spending time outside with the family. We traipsed around Charleston's cobblestone streets, made it rain autumn leaves in Washington Square Park, and even stopped for a quick pose in front of the iconic American Theater on King Street. What a bunch of cuties!
Happy 2015, y'all! I can't believe it's already here, and am so excited for what's in store. For Rachel and Thad, it's a new addition to the family! Rachel is a talented photographer (check out her work over here) and when she moved to Charleston, SC from Abingdon, VA in July of last year to work in the wedding industry, we met for coffee to chat and get to know each other.
With a bun in the oven, she wanted some beautiful maternity images with her sweet hubby Thad and their dogs Frances & Betty. I was more than happy to oblige, and love how well the session turned out! The Lowcountry landscape was the perfect setting to capture Rachel's natural glowing beauty in anticipation of motherhood. Meanwhile, Thad couldn't be more excited about his handiwork, as evidenced by that ear-to-ear grin! Congratulations, you two!
I met the Harris family through my friend Kate over at Fabulous Fête. They are such a cool family, and I was thrilled when they asked me to shoot a family portrait session with them. As luck would have it, Charleston has some great beaches perfect for capturing this playful bunch in action. The day was gorgeous! Despite the cooler November water temperature, we even found a live starfish! Zoey and Dylan were delighted, and had a blast playing on the beach all afternoon with mom and dad.
